About Me

I am an A Level Philosophy, Ethics and Religious Studies teacher. I have taught between 80 – 150 R.S students per year, for the past nine years.

I also manage a small team of Coaches 100_3828dedicated to enhancing Teaching, Learning and Assessment.

Three years ago I completed a MEd (Masters in Education) at the University of Cambridge focusing on Dialogic Learning.

After having huge success on SlideShare, with my power points being viewed over a quarter of million times, I started to think that I have so much more to share that may be of interest to other students and teachers outside my college.

So this Blog will document my on-going findings, reflections and tips for both teachers and students.

Feel free to comment or ask questions on any blog post and I will happily respond.

You can download all my materials and resources on TES and can be found via:  https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/IThinkThereforeITeach (Note: Due to unforeseen circumstances the Bamazoo website (where you could download the resources) is no longer available. I have updated all the links on the blog to take you directly to TES but if I happen to have missed any and you are transferred to Bamazoo please let me know so I can update the page.)

I would also like to say a huge thank you to Megan Watts, my extremely talented former student who has kindly created the profile picture for my blog. Check out http://www.Etsy.com/uk/shop/DarceyStrangeways

God, how much I wish you were my teacher! All of these resources are brilliant, especially the power points. Thank you for sharing them with everyone in this way!

  2. Hi, thanks for your worksheets and podcasts – very helpful. Could I ask if you have a podcast on Plato or Aristotle to accompany the worksheets which I downloaded from your TES Resources page? The videos I’ve seen are excellent overviews. Thanks, Mark
